Hello Bespoke Minds!
Welcome to my blog! Let me introduce myself to give some background...I'm a Manager, organizer, mentor, planner and strategist. I enjoy working with people and experiencing the beauty of interacting with human beings as well as the complexities that come with it. I love studying human behavior and processes. I loathe disorganization, mismanagement, and lack of planning. On a good day, you'll find me meeting and interacting with people, offering advice and insight, planning and strategizing on the next move, and then relaxing at the end of the day to a good TV program or book. Work by the way consumes a greater part of my life but I'm working on maintaining a great work/life balance.
Professionally, I manage a myriad of projects for a multinational IT firm in Abuja, Nigeria. Some of the projects I've worked on are very visible, national projects for which I'm very proud to be associated with. I've worked in the project management field for 8 years in various capacities particularly in the healthcare sector in the US and now in the IT industry in Nigeria. The beauty of project management is that it allows you to work in any sector and gain a broad experience. I look forward to venturing into other fields like construction, oil and gas, events planning, tourism, education, etc.
On this blog, I'll be sharing insightful articles on managing projects effectively in Nigeria. Guest posts will also feature intermittently with nuggets from experts around the country and the world who are attempting to make project management work! I look forward to a collaborative atmosphere where knowledge and ideas can be shared and exchanged. You might also get some personal rants here and there when work is driving me up the wall! Please make stopping by my blog part of your daily reads and also follow me on facebook, twitter, and any other social networking site out there. Be sure to like the blog on FB!
Truly looking forward to creating a forum on this page where we can all interact, learn, vent, share and grow.
